Chicken Parmesan
Chicken Parmesan

This is my version of Chicken Parmesan. It is one of my husband's favorite dishes. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Ingredients
3 chicken breasts or 6 chicken tenderloins
1 egg
1 tbsp milk
salt -to taste
pepper -to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 cup bread crumbs or 3 slices of white bread; toasted then made into crumbs
1 tsp, plus a little extra to taste of Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1 jar spaghetti sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 pound cooked spaghetti noodles
Preheat oven to 375 degrees farenheit.
Mix egg, milk, salt and pepper in a bowl.
If making toast- Take toast and put in a food processor with 1 tsp. Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Blend until toast becomes bread crumbs. Then pour them onto a large plate or bowl.
Dip chicken tenders in egg mix. Then dip the chicken tenders in the bread crumb mixture.
Heat a large skillet with the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Place the breaded chicken pieces in the pan and brown on both sides.
Place the chicken in a baking dish with spaghetti sauce poured into the bottom.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of the chicken; then pour the rest of the spaghetti sauce over the chicken.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and a little bit of Italian seasoning on top.
Place in the oven and bake for 35+ min if using breasts and 20+ min if using tenderloins or until the chicken is fully cooked.
Serve with Spaghetti noodles.
