Mother's Day Rose Cake
Mother's Day Rose Cake
by Jennifer Carlisle
Ingredients used:
Yellow Cake Mix, Hershey's Milk Chocolate frosting and my Creamy Vanilla Frosting
Steps:
Bake two 9 inch cakes. Stack the two cakes using chocolate frosting. Then give the top part of the cake a layer of vanilla frosting to cover the cake. Then frost the sides with chocolate frosting to cover the cake. Take a 1 M decorating tip or one similar to it. I didn't have a 1 M tip, but any large open star tip will work. When making the roses start from the center then swirl around it from the center out and go around a couple times. I used the I Am Baker Rose Cake tutorial to help me make this cake so I will share it with you cause it's a good one to know. Of all the cakes I have made, this one was actually the easiest I have ever made. I hope you give it a try and enjoy it!
