Sweet and Spicy Iced Tea (fast and easy)
Sweet and Spicy Iced Tea
by Jennifer Carlisle
This tea is very refreshing with a little bit of a kick. The cinnamon and ginger in this tea give it the spice. I love making this tea in the summer. It's a great alternative to regular iced tea.
Directions
Turn on your tap water and get it running hot, very hot. Place 4 tsp of sugar in a pitcher. Then take the pitcher and fill it with 4 cups of the hot running water. Place 4 Sweet and Spicy teabags (Good Earth is the brand I use) in the pitcher and allow to steep for 10 minutes. When done steeping remove the teabags and add 1/3 cup cold water. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve over ice.
*a slice of orange would probably be a good garnish and taste great with it. I have never tried it before though. I you do let me know what you think. Thanks
*also this recipe can certainly be doubled if need be.
