Cheesy Spinach and Shells
Cheesy Spinach and Shells
by Jennifer Carlisle
This recipe is similar to my 5 Cheese Penne. I was looking to add a little something to the penne dish I already make and we happened to have a large amount of frozen spinach in the freezer. The cheeses and spinach taste great together. I hope you enjoy it.
Ingredients:
10 oz. medium shell noodles, cooked
8 oz. Kraft Italian cheese blend, shredded (if you are unable to find this in the store just buy the cheeses seperately, a blend of asiago, romano, parmesan, mozzarella, fontina work well)
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup frozen chopped spinach
1 cup half and half
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic minced
Preheat oven to 350 F
Cook Noodles according to package
In a large bowl combine the rest of the ingredients
When the noodles are done boiling add to the large bowl of ingredients, mix together well.
Pour into a large greased baking dish.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until cheese becomes melty.
