Chili Dog Nachos

Chili Dog Nachos
by Jennifer Carlisle

Years ago I saw Rachel Ray make nachos like this on tv. When I saw her make them I realized I could make an easier version. When I make these I pile them high on a platter and my husband and I eat them as a dinner. My rule is each chip has to have an ingredient on it!

Ingredients:
-1 bag of nacho or tortilla chips
-2 cans already made chili (like Hormel or Wolf's)
-4 beef hotdogs sliced
-1 lb bag of cheddar cheese
-Tortilla chips

Directions:
Place chili and sliced hotdogs in a microwave safe bowl and microwave until hot approximately 2 min. Microwave times may vary though. Place one layer of nacho chips on a large plate that is oven safe, then add a layer of the chili and hotdog mix, then a layer of cheese and continue layering the chips, chili- dogs and cheese until you run out or until it's the size you want. I like to make sure every chip is covered. No one likes a chip without toppings. Then place the plate of nachos in a oven set to broil for approximately 5-10 min. Keep an eye on it though as broilers can burn food quickly. You will know it's done when the cheese becomes melty. Serve.
