Melon Mint Slush

Melon Mint Slush
adapted from Giada De Laurentiis

Years ago I saw Giada De Laurentiis make this recipe and it looked so delicious on tv, but i couldn't remember exact measurements. So I looked it up and found the recipe Melon Mint Slush. It is very refreshing, non-alcoholic, and is great to serve for special occasions such as a girls lunch, a night out, a baby or wedding shower or brunch. When I find a good recipe, no matter who makes it, I share it with people. Isn't sharing a part of cooking? Enjoy and Cheers!!

Ingredients:
1/4 honeydew melon, diced (2 cups)
3 cups ice
1/2 cup mint leaves ( I sometimes use just 1/4 cup, the mint may be too strong for some people)
1 1/2 cups ginger ale
1/2 cup sugar

Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until ice is crushed and everything is mixed together well. Pour into a pitcher and serve in glasses. Store the rest in the fridge until ready for more.

*no photo yet, sorry

*This is not my own recipe. Check out the actual original recipe by Giada De Laurentiis
