A Hint of Garlic Bread

A Hint of Garlic Bread
by Jennifer Carlisle

To save on the calories and excess fat that can sometimes be found in a slice of garlic bread, simply give any slice of bread a hint of garlic taste and add as much or as little butter you wish. This is really easy to do and tastes really good.

Slice of Wheat bread toasted with a clove of garlic.

Rubbing the toast with half of the garlic clove. Rub one side or both sides with the garlic, depending on what you like. I like a lot of garlic!

Then butter your garlic toast. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
-Slices of your favorite bread (French, Italian, Wheat or White bread)
-1/2 a clove of fresh garlic for each slice of bread, skins removed
-Butter

Directions:
Toast your bread the way you normally would, with a toaster or with an oven. Cut a clove of garlic in half. Rub the inside part of the garlic clove over the bread, gently. Then butter your bread as you normally would, or leave dry and eat it with that hint of garlic taste.
