Oreo and Pudding Parfaits
Oreo and Pudding Parfaits

This is the photo that inspired me to make these delicious desserts. I found this on Instagram, so this is not my own photo, but the recipe below is my own and the way I make them. Wish I had taken a picture of my own though. Sometimes I get so excited to try the food that I forget to take a picture. Can you blame me? They look so good!!
These parfaits are a fast and easy way to serve guests dessert. They can be made in small clear plastic cups or in fancy wine glasses, either way they taste great. Make these desserts ahead of time and place in the fridge so the Oreos become moist, they taste great like that.
Serves 6
Ingredients:
-6 cups already made chocolate pudding- You can make your own using 3 boxes of instant chocolate pudding mix, or buy 3 tubs of already made jello found in the fridge section at the store, or buy the snack pack pudding cups (2 packs with 6 cups each)
-1 package of Oreo cookies (any type you'd like); crushed into bits
-1 tub of Cool Whip topping; thawed
-2 tbsp of chocolate syrup
Or if you are able to find it, Cool Whip now makes these whipped frostings that can be found with the original Cool Whip. They would taste good with it too.
Directions:
Set out 6 glasses for your parfaits. Place 1/2 a cup of pudding into each glass. Then add a layer of the crushed Oreos, about 3 Oreos. Then add another 1/2 cup of pudding and another layer of crushed Oreos. Feel free to use more of each ingredient depending on how large your glasses are. Place in the fridge for 2 hours or until ready to serve. When ready to serve, open the container of thawed Cool Whip and add the chocolate syrup and gently fold in the chocolate syrup until it is blended well. Add the Cool Whip on top of the parfaits. The layers should be pudding, Oreos, pudding, Oreos, Cool Whip.
Enjoy!
Feel free to use any flavors you would like. Vanilla pudding with chocolate, mint, strawberry or Golden Oreos. Butterscotch pudding with Golden Oreos. Strawberry pudding with strawberry Oreos. Oreo pudding with Oreos. The list could go on and on, be creative.
