Coffee Liqueur Ice Cream Pie
Coffee Liqueur Ice Cream Pie
by Jennifer Carlisle
Ingredients:
-1 pre-made chocolate cookie crust (usually found down the baking aisle. or you can make your own)
-1 48 oz. container of Coffee ice cream (Breyer's has a good one)
- 6 tablespoons of a coffee liqueur such as Kahlua or Bailey's (I even like to use the Godiva chocolate liqueur in place sometimes)
- 1-2 tablespoons Nutella (warmed up to drizzle over the pie)
- Whipped Cream to garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Allow ice cream to soften at room temp for 10-15 minutes, but don't let completely melt. Place ice cream in a large mixing bowl add liqueur. Mix with a stand mixer or a hand mixer until combined. Pour delicious ice cream into a pre-made crust. Warm the Nutella in a cup in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Drizzle Nutella over the pie. Place pie in the freezer for 3-4 hours to set before serving. Serve with some delicious whipped cream.
